The Magic School Bus Explores in the Age of Dinosaurs 1.00

This is the first version of The Magic School Bus Explores in the Age of Dinosaurs.
Wanda, Arnold, Ms. Frizzle, Liz, Tim, Ralphie, Phoebe, Dorothy Ann (D.A.), Carlos, and Keesha set off on a photo adventure back in time. They must take pictures of 3 missing dinosaurs in different time periods to learn more about them in the album book.
After signing in, you are taken to the classroom, which has 2 screens. In the first screen, clicking the group photo displays the Credit Card which shows the program credits. Clicking Tim's clipboard causes him to show you an illustrated fun fact. Clicking on objects by the other students make them tell you a fun fact. In the second classroom screen, clicking on the world map opens Map-O-Matic, which shows what the world's continents looked like in the Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous, and Now times. Clicking on the Time Machine shows a screen showing its different time periods: Now, Cretaceous, Jurassic, and Triassic. Selecting a time period displays the areas on the map to explore in that period. The Cretaceous areas include Alberta and Mongolia. The Jurassic areas include Colorado, Tanzania, and the Tethys Sea. The Triassic areas include Arizona and Argentina.
Clicking on The Magic School bus takes you to the Dino License (Driver's License) screen where you can personalize your license with custom hair, eyes, ears, noses, and mouths and enter your name and age. After getting your license, you are taken to the inside the front of the Magic School Bus.
The front of The Magic School Bus has several items that can be clicked. Clicking the glove box door causes different things to pop out of it. The bro mac os. Overhead lights can be turned on or off. A screen in the upper left has Ms. Frizzle give you a help tip. Clicking the speaker causes a student to sing a short song. The Time Machine is on the left side and the doors to it can be opened by clicking on them. Selecting different time periods allow The Magic School Bus to travel to the different areas.
Each area has several dinosaurs. The camera must be clicked on to photograph the missing dinosaur, if it resides in that area. If it does, a picture is added to the album book and the page is allowed to be turned to see the next dinosaur that needs to be found. When all 3 dinosaurs are found, a ribbon and a mask of T-Rex that can be printed is awarded.
The back of The Magic School Bus has a collection of reports by the students. The reports include What Is A Dinosaur? by Tim, Fossils by Carlos, Paleontology by Keesha, Famous Dinosaur Digs by Arnold, The Changing Earth by Dorothy Ann (D.A.), Iguanodonts by Carlos, Dinosaur Behavior by Phoebe, Extinction by Arnold, Ceratopsians, or Horned Dinosaurs by Ralphie, Armored Dinosaurs by Wanda, Hadrosaurs, or Duckbills by Tim, Marine Reptiles by Wanda, Large Sauropods by Tim, The Evolution Of Birds by Phoebe, Flying Reptiles by Keesha, Gigantism by Dorothy Ann (D.A.), Cold-Blooded or Warm-Blooded? by Carlos, Dinosaur Myths by Keesha, Mammal-Like Reptiles by Wanda, Carnivorous Dinosaurs by Ralphie, and Good Guesses by Dorothy Ann (D.A.).
Other back of the bus items include Skull-X, a game where 8 dinosaur heads are shown and x-rays of their skulls are shown and Fossil Finder which displays a world map. Clicking areas of the map show where dinosaur remains have been found and what species were discovered. Dina and Sara tell dinosaur jokes in Best of the Nest. Game generator displays a random game to play. Games include Footprints puzzle, Dino Madness, Dino Quartet, Marathon, Nest Watch, PastCard, DinoSizer, Name Game, Meteor Meltdown, Skeleton!, and Morph-A-Saurus morphing Arnold or Wanda with one of 8 dinosaurs.
Paleo Cards are awarded for completing certain game levels. After collecting Paleo Cards, they can be viewed with the Paleo Card Viewer. Clicking on a Paleo Card shows a picture of the dinosaur, its name, size, weight, region it was found, and time period it lived in.
This version also has Closed Captioning in some screens.
